SEATTLE, WA - After laying off 20,000 employees in 2023, Meta has increasingly been leveraging AI to replace members on client account teams. The shift has angered some CMOs and executives who feel slighted by the downsized support. Others are simply coming to terms with a world in which advertisers relinquish even more control over their investment and campaign strategy on Meta.
