The Opportunity:
New Engen is seeking an inspiring creative leader and storyteller who can effectively translate business goals into breakthrough creative solutions for television, digital video, and radio. You’ll lead video concepting and production efforts from small to large for our range of clients across a variety of business verticals. From 6-second youtube bumpers to 60 second TV commercials, you’ll bring your passion for standout ideas and execution to bear in a way that sets our clients’ campaigns up for success.

How you’ll make a difference
- Manage and mentor talented, digitally-focused creative people and support their client portfolios as we expand our services into video creative
- Establish and maintain strategic client relationships as a partner and point of escalation
- Pitch and sell creative concepts and creative testing strategies
- Direct and inspire world-class creative execution via internal and external resources
- Leverage your vision for brand presence and voice to generate ideas that are both brand-building and results-focused
- Own P&L, budget, forecasting, pricing, scope SOWs in partnership with our creative producers
- Act as a key collaborative partner in our agency’s strategic push into LTV, CTV, and OTT media management
- Strategically optimize organizational structure and build business cases for hiring
About you:
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience
- Proven skills in visual storytelling, directing video, and producing ads for radio, television, and digital channels
- Strong creative portfolio and ability to clearly articulate the business impact of your work.
- Excellent communication and listening skills. Comfortable pitching big ideas in high-stakes scenarios with authenticity and a strong POV.
- Experienced fiscal responsibilities at a project or departmental level, video-specific creative direction, and exposure to marketing principles and KPIs.
- Ability to work gracefully and have a bias for action in fast-paced, ambiguous situations
- Motivated and inspired to contribute to an inclusive culture as a leader of the organization.
- It’s a plus if you have:
- Startup and/or agency experience
- BA or BFA in television, radio, film, new media or similar field
- Expertise in, or career exposure to, A/B testing and data-driven marketing experimentation
New Engen is headquartered in Seattle, WA, and candidates in the Seattle metropolitan area are preferred. New Engen also operates offices in New York, NY, Los Angeles, CA, Charlotte, NC, and Charlottesville, VA, and candidates from these areas will also be given preferential consideration.
