New Engen Celebrates 10 Years of Growth and Innovation

Last updated: August 27, 2026

The following is a summary of a press release celebrating New Engen’s 10-year anniversary.

SEATTLE, WA – This year marks a major milestone for New Engen: 10 years of helping brands grow. What started in Seattle in 2016 as a performance digital marketing agency has grown into one of the nation’s largest independent marketing agencies, with more than 400 employees and an expanded set of capabilities built for how modern marketing works today.

A lot has changed in those 10 years. Consumer attention has fragmented, creators have reshaped discovery and trust, AI is changing how marketers work, and the lines between brand and performance continue to blur. Along the way, New Engen has evolved too—expanding into creator marketing, UGC, affiliate, retail, advanced measurement, performance creative, and AI-enabled solutions while staying grounded in a performance mindset.

Ten years is an incredible milestone, but what we're most proud of isn't simply how much New Engen has grown, it's how many clients have trusted us to grow alongside them. Marketing has changed dramatically since 2016, and every evolution we've made, every capability we've built, every company we've welcomed into New Engen, has been driven by one goal: helping our clients stay ahead of what's next.
Justin Hayashi, New Engen CEO

That evolution has included the acquisitions of Acorn Influence, LT Partners, Donut Digital (now Donut Studios), and Grapevine, alongside six consecutive appearances on the Inc. 5000 and recognition from Adweek, Ad Age, Digiday, and the U.S. Agency Awards. In 2026, we also brought more than 130 marketing leaders together for the first Camp New Engen to explore what’s next across creativity, AI, media, and measurement.

While we’re proud of what we’ve built over the past decade, this milestone is really about the people who made it possible. We’re grateful to the clients, employees, and partners who have grown alongside us, challenged us to think differently, and helped shape New Engen into the agency it is today.

As we look toward the next 10 years, we’ll keep doing what got us here: evolving alongside our clients, investing ahead of where marketing is going, and building smarter ways to connect creativity, creators, media, technology, and measurement.
