Seattle, WA - Full-time
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (Sr. BIA) is responsible for ensuring that data, analytics, and reporting needs are successfully managed and executed for client-related projects and requests (including client onboarding and ad-hoc engagements). The Sr. BIA interfaces directly with non-technical co-workers and client contacts to ask probing questions, identify requirements, advise on solutions, communicate status, and present deliverables. The Sr. BIA is a hands-on cross-functional leader, who can establish trust as a knowledgeable and reliable resource, and can utilize data analytics and interactive dashboards to answer ad-hoc data questions and provide impactful and actionable insights.
The Sr. BIA is an advocate for the Analytics team, communicating realistic expectations, articulating challenges and trade-offs. The Sr. BIA must dive deeper into requests and really understand which elements are key to success and if what is asked for will achieve the stated goal. This is instrumental in helping fellow team members overcome analysis paralysis or the perfectionism that is inevitable within analytic and reporting projects.
