The Opportunity:

We are a fast-paced, fast-growing marketing agency in need of support across all aspects of our people function.

We are looking for a developing HR professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, with a passion for “connecting the dots”, effective communication, problem-solving, developing and improving processes, and providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creates an exceptional experience for candidates and employees that differentiates New Engen from other marketing agencies.
  • Administers our HRIS and the other technology tools used by our team, including Office 365, Zoom and Slack.
  • Executes administration a variety of people systems and processes, including scheduling of interviews, new employee orientation, employee onboarding & offboarding and employee benefits support.
  • Finds ways to improve and streamline People processes.
  • Supports event coordination for People team events like professional development trainings, DEI workshops, and company events
  • Runs reports and collect data to support team initiatives
  • Supports initiatives leading to increased employee satisfaction, productivity, and retention
  • Contributes to internal communications in support of employee engagement and culture


  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of HR experience.
  • Experience administering HR programs and/or systems.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) credential preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to adapt style for audience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and customer service mindset.
  • Ability to adapt and flex with changing priorities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

New Engen is headquartered in Seattle, WA, with offices in New York, NY and Charlotte, NC. This position is located in our Seattle HQ.
